WS8610 Additional Sensors
- Follow the instructions: Learning a transmitter (channel) to set up the channels you wish to use (say 3)
- Follow the instructions: Setting the number of transmitters to be saved into the system memory.
Once this has been done, put the batteries in the second remote sensor and notice that a symbol of concentric arcs of a circle appears again - showing that the sensor is communicating with the logger. At the same time, the logger number [2] will be displayed on the main screen. Mark the logger [2]
Once this has settled down, repeat this for the third remote sensor, noting the communication symbol and the logger number [3]. Mark the logger [3]
The unit will then be receiving signals from each of the remotes.
WS2300/2350 PC Connection
There are a few possibilities when you experience no connection or no download.
The station is a serial data logger so it need to connect to correct serial port. On conventional PCs this is the 9 pin D connector. Serial is always the preferable connection as it is hardware controlled and not a software device such as USB. However today most consumer PCs and all lap tops come without a serial connection.
Technoline WS2800 Software
Here is a link for the manufacturers "HeavyWeather" software for the WS2800;

At the time of writting the station does not work directly with WeatherDisplay. It can be used by setting WeatherDisplay to "piggy back" on the HeavyWeather data files.
