Consoles and data logging
The WeatherLink Console 6313UK replaces the original Vantage Pro2 display and streams data straight to weatherlink.com over Wi-Fi, with no separate data logger needed. The Vue console 6351UK is the equivalent for Vantage Vue. Where a display is not required at all, the Wireless Weather Envoy receives the station signal and uploads without a console, which suits installations where the sensor suite is remote from the building; a cabled version is also available.
Integrated Sensor Suites
The ISS is the outdoor unit — the rain collector, anemometer and temperature and humidity sensor on one assembly. We supply wireless suites for Pro2, Pro2 Plus and Vue, cabled versions, options with 24-hour fan-aspirated radiation shields, and the GroWeather suites for agricultural use. A replacement ISS is the usual route when an older outdoor unit has reached the end of its life but the console is still sound.
Individual sensors
Sensors can be added to a Pro2 or EnviroMonitor system as required: soil moisture and soil temperature probes, leaf wetness, air, water and soil temperature probes in plastic and stainless steel, UV and solar radiation sensors with their mounting shelf, and the Sonic Anemometer 6415 for sites where moving parts are a maintenance problem. The AirLink monitor adds indoor and outdoor PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 air quality readings over Wi-Fi.
Radiation shields
Temperature accuracy in direct sun depends on the shield. Passive shields are adequate in temperate conditions; daytime and 24-hour fan-aspirated shields draw air across the sensor and hold accuracy through still, sunny weather, which is why they are specified for professional and agricultural installations.
Mounting, power and range
Mounting pole kits, EZ-Mount tripods for roof or in-ground fixing and universal shelters cover most siting requirements. Solar power kits, including a heavy duty version, run consoles and transmitters where mains power is impractical. Where the station sits beyond reliable radio range, solar-powered and long-range repeaters extend the link, and 4-core extension cables are available from 8ft to 200ft for cabled systems.
