Basic Home Weather Stations — also known as weather clocks — combine a weather forecast, radio-controlled clock and indoor and outdoor temperature in one display, with a wireless outdoor sensor included. For wind and rainfall measurement, see Complete Home Weather Stations.
Use the filters below to narrow the range by brand, display type, number of sensors, or price.
What a basic weather station gives you
A basic home weather station, often sold as a weather clock or weather forecaster, gives you a symbol-based forecast, a radio-controlled clock and live indoor and outdoor readings from a single desk or wall unit. Most display humidity as well as temperature, and selected models add barometric pressure for a more accurate local forecast.
It doubles as an indoor outdoor thermometer
Every model in this range includes a wireless outdoor sensor, so it also works as an indoor outdoor thermometer. Site the sensor in the garden for outside conditions, or place it in another room — a child's bedroom, conservatory, greenhouse or garage — to monitor temperature where you cannot easily check it yourself. Several models accept additional remote sensors if you want to track more than one location at once.
Basic or complete station?
If you only need forecast, time and temperature, a basic station is the simpler and more affordable choice. If you want to measure wind speed, wind direction and rainfall, or send your readings to your phone over WiFi, look at our Complete Home Weather Stations range.
