Davis Vantage Vue Used by Enstone Flying Club

Enstone Flying Club Uses Weather Shop Davis Vantage Vue

Enstone Flying Club first came into being in 1987, the brainchild of flying enthusiast Tom Miller. The Club had modest beginnings and moved around different sites on the airfield until settling into its present permanent accommodation.

The club runs a highly professional but friendly flying school, ensuring that everyone, whether a club member or visitor has a thoroughly good time. You can read more about the club here: https://www.enstoneflyingclub.co.uk/about

Knowing the weather conditions before a flight is important, as flying into the unknown can be risky and dangerous. Therefore, having a system in place, such as a Weather Station, is an excellent way to combat this.

Enstone Flying Club is currently using a Davis Vantage Vue Weather Station, supplied by us here at Weather Shop. The Station uploads its readings to the club’s website here: https://www.enstoneflyingclub.co.uk/info-zone/weather-and-webcams, acting as a guide for all those wishing to fly.

Paul Fowler, the club’s skipper, says: “The weather station is working well and provides a constant feed of weather information to all our members plus many other pilots who use it for their flights in and around the area. It is a great system”
